I am a PhD candidate in the ECE department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I am exploring the exciting intersection of biomedical ultrasound imaging and deep learning. Working under the guidance of Prof. Michael Oelze. I am addressing the key challenges faced by deep learning in this field, including data scarcity, data mismatch, and model security.
My research interests extend far beyond biomedical ultrasound imaging, encompassing a diverse range of topics such as machine learning, signal processing, biomedical imaging, forecasting time series, computational imaging, and spatiotemporal problems.
Before embarking on my PhD journey, I earned my M.S. in the ECE department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign , where I was supervised by Prof. Yoram Bresler. I earned my B.Sc. from Middle East Technical University in Electrical Engineering.
Apart from work, I enjoy staying active with sports and nature activities, as well as spending time with friends. Additionally, having spent my formative years on a farm, I developed a strong fascination and reverence for agriculture.
